Evidence-Based Treatment for OCD, Anxiety, & Eating Disorders




Welcome.
I work with individuals struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. I take my role as a therapist seriously: to sit with you in it, make sense of things together, and start down a path, one step at a time, towards a life worth living and relationships of meaning and connection.
The core of my therapeutic orientation with individuals tends towards Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Exposure Response Prevention, utilizing insight-oriented and behavioral exposure techniques, depending on individual need and preference.
Our work will emphasize three domains of recovery:

Cultivate insight into your experience and symptoms.

Improve psychological flexibility through present moment awareness, openness, and mindful action; and
 - 
Help you to face fears, improve distress tolerance, and move, step-by-step toward a life aligned with your goals and values.
 
These themes, and my approach overall, are guided by the principles of Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), leading evidence-based modalities for the treatment of OCD, Anxiety, and Eating Disorders.
