Welcome.

I work with individuals struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. I take my role as a therapist seriously: to sit with you in it, make sense of things together, and start down a path, one step at a time, towards a life worth living and relationships of meaning and connection.

The core of my therapeutic orientation with individuals tends towards Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Exposure Response Prevention, utilizing insight-oriented and behavioral exposure techniques, depending on individual need and preference.

Our work will emphasize three domains of recovery:

  • Cultivate insight into your experience and symptoms.

  • Improve psychological flexibility through present moment awareness, openness, and mindful action; and

  • Help you to face fears, improve distress tolerance, and move, step-by-step toward a life aligned with your goals and values.

These themes, and my approach overall, are guided by the principles of Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), leading evidence-based modalities for the treatment of OCD, Anxiety, and Eating Disorders.

FAQ

How do we get started?

To begin, simply reach out by email or text to schedule a free 15-minute phone intake. If it seems like a good fit, I'll ask you to complete a couple assessments prior to our first session in order best serve your needs.

What can I expect during our first session?

During our first session, I'll focus on getting to know you as a person, as well as understanding your past and present challenges. We'll identify your goals for therapy and for life beyond it. This provides us with a foundation for productive and meaningful work going forward.

What does therapy look like?

Just as your experience is unique, our work together will reflect the particular needs, values, and goals that you bring into therapy.
Depending on these factors, our work balance the insight-oriented supportive talk-therapy familiar to many with therapeutic "exposures" that help you to gradually manage fear, obsessions, and anxiety.

What is your clinical training?

Beyond my Master's level academic and clinical training, to be completed by the spring of 2026, I have completed trainings in ERP and ACT.

In addition, I have two years of experience working at Rogers Behavioral Health residential programs helping to support patients struggling with Eating Disorders, OCD, and Anxiety.

How much does therapy cost?

Each 90 minute session costs $20, payable by cash or card. The entirety of this fee goes to my supervisor to help me provide the highest quality care.

What is a "Pre-license Therapist?"

As a pre-license provider, I have completed the bulk of my master's level training and provide therapy under the license of an experienced supervisor, with whom I consult regularly to ensure the most up-to-date evidence-based care.
